A very poor quality video screen capture of the format that I am working with. Once specific areas of the footage have been edited together I will post some 'proper' footage. This clip is just to demonstrate the format that I hope to work with. Obviously there won't be a problem with aspect ration, framerate or quality when I post clips exported from FCE.
As predicted the cueing issue is proving to be a bit of a nightmare with the slight discrepancy between DV and digitised analogue footage durations. This shouldn't be too much of a problem as I intend to put together a number of short clips - so each clip can be individually synced if required. The position in which each recording is displayed will vary depending on what is happening/which aspect is being analysed. Some swapping between the two as well as the elimination of one or the other will occur, again depending on what is being analysed.
