Editing Software Arrives

I have finally got some decent video editing software onto my computer. Thankfully both the camera and bridge appear to be talking to the software meaning both recordings can be captured. I have started capturing the footage that I have recorded so far - there is quite a bit so it may take a while to get it cut down and prepared fro posting. The most difficult part will be cueing up the Wii output and actual play recordings - I did label both tapes and set times and dates but I still think that it is going to be tricky.

By the looks of things the 'picture-within-picture' setup will work quite well although I'm not sure how clear it will be when uploaded to YouTube - this is something that I need to test.

I have sent a cheque off for the Binatone IV first class so hopefully I will receive the console next week sometime. I was thinking about setting it up at the next iglab if it arrives in time. I might be able to get some more information about the console and it would be good to see if anybody else used to own one as memories could be shared.

I have been putting together a long (predominantly mental) list of the electronic forms of play that I can recall from my childhood. I think it is worth noting just how much is being recalled as a result of embarking on the Wii study.
